WOW! I have been selected as a FINALIST again! Thank you

Living Horse Tails jewellery by Monika, LOCAL BUSINESS ANNOUNCED A FINALIST IN THE 2023 AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S SMALL BUSINESS CHAMPION AWARDS From thousands of entrants from across the nation

I am absolutely thrilled to be selected as finalist again this year in the Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards, and this time in the prestigious jewellery category.

Being a solopreneur, and doing everything myself, from the jewellery, to social media, photography, branding, marketing, and so much more, and to get this far is humbling.

Of course, none of this would be possible without the support of my followers and customers, your beautiful feedback, reviews and comments means the world to me.

Thank you, and fingers crossed for the Winners Announcement on September 23rd.

~ Monika

LOCAL BUSINESS ANNOUNCED A FINALIST IN THE 2023 AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S SMALL BUSINESS CHAMPION AWARDS

From thousands of entrants from across the nation, Goulburn-local business owner Monika Rodger has been named a finalist in the 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards – a prestigious and comprehensive programme that celebrates the growing number of Australia’s most inspiring and influential women in small business.

Lauded for excellence in the Jewellery category of the Awards, Monika’s business Living Horse Tails, is now in the running to take a top gong at the second annual Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards National Presentation Evening Gala Event, to be held on Saturday 23 September 2023.

With a mounting reputation as the ‘Logies’ of small business, the red-carpet event will be hosted by accomplished journalist and popular broadcaster, Deborah Knight, at the newly-built Western Sydney Conference Centre at Penrith in NSW.

The only national awards programme of its kind created specifically to shine a spotlight on the rising economic and social contributions of women in small business – spanning all capital cities as well as rural, regional and suburban towns – the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards is arguably among the most diverse in terms of the breadth of represented industries and sectors.

From jewellery to disability support, butchers and bakers, environmental and Indigenous businesses, manufacturing, marketing services and more, the 2023 programme features more than 60 industry categories and four individual award categories – Young Small Business Champion Woman Entrepreneur (aged 30 and younger), Small Business Champion Woman Entrepreneur (aged over 30), Australian Small Business Champion Influential Woman and Australian Small Business Champion Icon.

“The success of female-led small businesses in this country is absolutely on the rise, especially during the past decade and even during the current challenging economic climate,” says Steve Loe, Awards Founder and Managing Director of Precedent Productions, which coordinates the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

“Since our inception more than 40 years ago, Precedent Productions continues to present a multitude of state and national award programmes, so we’re generally in-tune with the country’s best performing business operators.

“We simply could not look past the spiking number of female small business trailblazers – such as Monika Rodger – and so deemed it only appropriate to have a standalone awards programme that showcases and honours their achievements.

“The quantity and quality of entrants in the 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards is truly remarkable and so the ultimate selection of this year’s finalists has by no means been an easy feat.

“When the Champion Judges evaluate entries, they consider all aspects of a business: its strategies, innovative initiatives, customer service, vision, growth, charitable and community support – to name but some of the judging criteria.

“To put it plainly, my team and I are just chuffed to be in a position to honour these women and hopefully inspire the next generation of Australia’s female small business champions,” added Mr Loe.

The 2023 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards is sponsored by Nine Plus, CUB, NOVA Employment, Castaway Forecasting, Xcllusive Business Sales and Big Clean.
