IMPORTANT RESIN INFORMATION

Resin does have a limited life, and will change colour and break down over time.

When not being worn, it should always be stored away in a cool , dark, non air tight place.

Yellowing

This can /will happen when the resin jewellery is exposed to sunlight or to extreme heat alone, and cause the resin to break down and become discoloured. 

Storage

It’s important to store your resin jewellery properly when you’re not wearing it. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Avoid storing it in a damp or humid environment, as this can cause the resin to warp or discolour.

Wearing

Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals, such as cleaning products, hairspray, perfume and hand sanitisers. These can damage the resin & cause it to discolour or become cloudy. Also avoid exposing your resin jewellery to extreme temperatures or pressure, as this can cause it to crack or warp. When not wearing your resin jewellery, store it properly to help prolong its lifespan.

Avoiding Damage

You should avoid wearing your resin jewellery while swimming or showering, as exposure to water can damage the resin. You should also avoid exposing your resin jewellery to extreme temperatures, such as leaving it in a hot car or exposing it to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Handle your resin jewellery with care to avoid dropping or scratching it.

 

Horse hair rings comes in many styles.  From inlaid braids, to resin settings.

Fixed size rings or adjustable rings which provide a little more flexibility on sizing. 

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Wide rings generally require a bigger size. Bands approximately 6mm wide or wider (most rings with an inlay of horsehair) generally require a slightly larger size for most people.

Best way to measure, is to have a measurement done by a jeweller to find out what the Diameter of the ring needs to be (in mm). This will be the most accurate way to order you ring, as there will always be some variance when converting between any other measurement standards.
