How much hair is needed

Tail hair is always better suited, but I can also work with mane.

Most penadnts only require the length of a 30cm ruler and half the thickness of a pencil when twisted tight.

I will wash what hair I use, so there is no need for you to do this.

Yes, you can.

Not all metals are the same. And Tibetan Silver is actually not silver at all.

Barefoot Hoofprint Pendant inlaid with Horse Hair Braid

This stunning pendant can be made with your braided horse hair or mine, with room on the back for engraving (extra cost)

It is an exquisite and flattering size at approximately 21 x 22 mm. (about the size of a 10 cent coin).

Perfect on a fine silver chain, a chunkier rolo style chain or even a braided horse hair necklace.

Comes in a gift box and includes a complimentary stainless steel 45cm chain (as at April 18, 2022)

HOW MUCH HAIR IS NEEDED?

For this pendant I will need at least 50 strands of TAIL hair, at least 20cm long. If the tail hair is long, you can send half that amount.

If sending mane, please send at least 1/2 pencil thickness , as mane is much finer than tail.

IMPORTANT: This item is made to order.

Please allow 3 - 8 weeks for this to be completed. (excluding Christmas , personal and Holiday periods)

Very poor quality one came with a gem and one did not and just fall out off her ears.

Amazing quality and such a beautiful gift

My Mother in Law lost her mare suddenly and without warning. Unbeknownst to her we managed to get a section of tail from the vet (she was too distraught to think to do so). Trustingly we sent the last part of Mon Amis that we had to Living Horse Tails and received back the most beautiful memento to remember her by.
